I finally went on a long ride yesterday and it was amazing, the Vogue is so soft and comfy.
I love it. Thanks, Randi
I wish I had the words to tell you how excited I am about my new saddle. I couldn't
believe how this saddle could immediately put me into a classical position and
comfortably too! Oscar really loved it too. I didn't have to work nearly so hard to get
him suppled and on the bit. It is amazing. The Fhoenix allows me to feel so much of my
horse. This is going to be a huge advantage in continuing to learn dressage. I am so
excited about it. I was hesitating at selling my old hunt seat, but not now! I can't wait to
get rid of it now!
Thanks for all your help,
Jacquie
Hi Shannon,
I've been looking at the Fhoenix saddles for the last year and recently got to try the new
Standard model because it was finally in my price range. Well, now I refuse to ride in any
other saddle! I absolutely love it, its exactly what I've been searching for. I've been
looking for a comfortable saddle that puts you in a balanced position and lets you give
clear aids while being comfortable to different horses I ride (I don't own a horse yet). I
wanted a saddle that did not hinder my riding, is that so much to ask for? After spending
a lot of time and money buying and trying different saddles, and finding out that none of
them satisfied my needs I finally tried the Fhoenix. I will never go back! My current
lesson horse absolutely loves it and it actually lets me ride! I don't have to struggle to
maintain my position or give clear aids, I don't have to worry about sore seat bones
anymore! The Fhoenix lets you forget that you are on a saddle, it becomes just you and
your horse. I own a very nice and expensive Crosby, a Barefoot saddle and a
Thorowgood dressage; I refuse to ride in any of them now and they're all going on Ebay
very soon. I can't wait to get my brand new Fhoenix and continue to improve my riding
in a saddle that fits ALL my needs!
Thank you Heather for designing this saddle and Shannon for being so patient with all
my questions!

Hi Shannon,
I wanted to let you know I was able to pick up my saddle yesterday. It looks wonderful!!! I
haven’t gotten a chance to ride in it yet, but I am really excited!
Thanks,
Elizabeth
This is a phone conversation summary by me, I did not get an email yet, but such an
exciting change, I just had to share:)
I just heard back on a Fhoenix demo. of a lady with a 7 yr old mare they have been trying
to get going under saddle, but had a major bucking issue (started bucking and rearing as
soon as she was mounted and could not be ridden by her or trainer) even though she was
working well on the ground. Well they put the Fhoenix on her and trainer mounted up -
no bucking or "aires". Next owner went for a ride, again, no bucking, leaping or objections
- her first "normal" ride on her sensitive mare. Owner called me ecstatic and of course
bought the saddle.
I have asked her to send a testimonial, but just had to post this preview:)
I love the suberpanel... It is
AWESOME!! I am digging the fact that since I live in such a HOT climate, the
Cork seems to absorb all the heat. In my other saddles, he is always REALLY
sweaty under the saddle, but with the CORK, he is slightly DAMP.. In the 2
rides I have used it, it already started to take his shape.. LOVE it..
He offered me some really nice trot work, all up and elevated in the front.. It
was pretty COOL... Now if I can get it in the canter I will be all set.. Oh and
I rode him in a bit, just to see, and amazingly, he was not fussy at all. Like
when I ride bareback. So I guess all along his fussiness was due to his saddle
pinching and poking him.. Also BENDING is a BREEZE now..
It's amazing what a saddle can do!!

Thank you to Megan for sharing these wonderful pics of her, horse Bob, and her new Vogue!
Announcement! US Dressage Federation Certified Instructor/Trainer and Judge, FEI
competitor, and well-respected Equine Veterinarian, Candice Platz has just achieved a
67% score with her Lipizzan gelding, Maestoso Glena, riding in a Fhoenix saddle. This
was his first time showing PSG and his first show in 5 years! Congratulations, Candice
and "Sunny"!!:) Candice owns several Fhoenix Saddles which she uses on her own
horses. A true advocate of the horse, Candice has been a long-time proponent of our
saddles, refusing to take anything, for the customers she sends our way. She has
graciously offered to have her email listed here as a reference: Ckpdvm@aol.com
Competition Update: "just debut'd my horse at Intermediare in the new saddle. We
earned my Intermediare qualifying scores toward my USDF gold medal. Two shows,
four classes, two blues and two reds... Four qualifying scores.
Plus two other lips did great.. one horse first recognized show, four blues at second
level, the other first show with rider who never showed at a recognized show before, all
scores mid sixties and above...
So... great job, with these saddles...

I've written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users. By Leeandra - GP rider/trainer
Details of the Recommendation: "Heather's saddle concept, the Fhoenix, is a "thinking-outside-the-box" concept in
treeless saddles. I have an older Grand Prix schoolmaster that requires a treeless saddle, and my own physical
conformation requires a saddle with a narrow twist. Her saddle design is the only one out there that gives wither
clearance for high-withered or shoulder-wastage horses. Her design encourages atrophied horses to build muscle
out to fill in the wastage areas versus pinching or restricting in a temporary treed solution.
I have ridden and competed in her saddle, and her SuberPad design allows for a fit from the most table-backed,
mutton withered horses to the irregular, high-withered horses. Additionally, unlike other treeless designs that
spread a rider's hips extremely wide and put pressure and extreme tension on the outer IT band in a rider's thighs,
her soft pommelled, higher gulleted design give a feel of a mock twist. Lastly the stirrup bars are set back in such
a way to give a more classical and correct head/shoulder/core/hip/ankle alignment and they are recessed well for
horse and rider comfort.
The SuberPad and the saddle's seat custom mold to horse and rider so well that it's much like riding on a couch.
The side to side stability is better, compared to other treeless models, that extended canter, pirhouette, and
tempi's are possible without moving the saddle's center axis over too much to disrupt the flow of horse and rider.
Very quality design, and the only one of its kind. People who ride in my saddle often never even know they're in a
treeless. Lastly, I have lower back pain when sitting larger/extended trot and her saddle cushioning helps me
absorb the movement through my core much, much better than a treed saddle.
And no, I'm not a dealer--though I'd love to be one someday. I just am extremely happy with the saddle."
