Okay, I did take off in plenty of time to enjoy a lovely ride this afternoon, with the
suberpanel on . Beautiful day, delightful pony & fabulous saddle. It just doesn't get
any better than this. Shannon, in the more than 50 years I've been riding I've never
ridden a saddle I've liked any better. Period, bar none. The suberpanel is definitely
perfect for Knight and I, & it's so ingenious how it's hidden conpletely behind the
skirt on the back of the saddle. I think the suber works even better with the Vogue,
my leg dropped down perfectly and no tweaking the cork granules. I rode it just the
way the suberpanel wanted to sit with the vogue and it was perfection. Feel free to
use any of my comments if you would like, I can't say enough about the Vogue. OH
said he would take pics with me riding over the weekend to I'll hope to send you
some of the suberpanel in action.

His reaction was priceless. Expecting him to go ride when it's dinner time is usually an excuse for pulling
faces & trying to turn back at every other step. But after tightening the girth on the vogue he was rather
thoughtful and fairly cheerfully walked right out to the mounting block. He stood pondering at the mounting
block for some moments and then cheerfully set out when asked. It was dark & muddy so we just had a nice
walk around the field. He remained cheerful and did not even complain when we went back to the stable, put
Jill's fluffy cover on and set out for a second walk. Absolutely remarkable to have such a chilled out pone
when asked to do some work at dinner time. And this was with the moulded panels in. So a resounding "I
love it!" from Knight. I think he will love it even more when I get the suberpanel on.
Heather, you've outdone yourself! I've ridden several of your saddles and loved them. I found it hard too
imagine that you could improve much on the Fhoenix so it took some time to decide to go for a Vogue. I've
joined the ranks of those with a glazed expression after riding a Vogue. It's amazing, it's hard to describe but
it's fabulous. I've never felt so at home in a saddle & this in a brand new saddle just out of the box. WOW!

I made sure to get chance to give the Vogue a good ride in the daylight this time. A lovely afternoon, a
delightful pony and the amazing Vogue saddle, what a perfect day. Knight as I figured was very pleased to
have his suberpanel back. What a neat and tidy look and after I got on I could feel that the little skirt on the
saddle completely hid the suber. Ingenious! The suber works even better with this saddle, the shape is
perfect and my leg just dropped down so nice without the least bit of effort or thought. The Vogue lets you
feel even closer to the horse, is that possible? It's like riding bareback but better because you just sit
perfectly.
Heather, I've never ridden a saddle I liked better. The workmanship is stunning, please give a big Thank
You to everyone at Nurseys. And thank you for having US dealers now. They make it much simpler for us
on this side of the pond to get your saddles. Shannon has been great work with and full of great ideas. Her
idea about the slight work on the seat on my Vogue made it perfect for me.
Thanks for getting them out so quickly!
I received the saddle yesterday and I am IN LOVE! I ended up getting home late from work, it was SO COLD
out and about 8:30 pm, way past the horses’ feeding time, but I couldn’t resist! It feels so much like a
traditional treed saddle – even more of a ‘twist’ feeling than my old Fhoenix. And it puts you in the correct
spot and you STAY in the correct spot. I felt like I could really drop my legs, relax my thigh, and use my seat
bones independently. I absolutely LOVE it. And it’s SO PRETTY too!
Thanks so much for all your help. If anyone in my area (Central Florida) ever wants to see one, feel free to
send them to me and I’ll show it off!
Hi Shannon,
I was just reading the EE forum, and had to tell you that Tam loves the
saddle! He has developed this great big trot, so forward and through,
that I can barely sit it! Any suggestions for that? Also, I seem to
be able to communicate by thought now, and he responds! I know it is
the saddle. Now if I can only cure my bounce, everything will be
perfect.....well, maybe our 10-meter circles could be better. :)

Dear Shannon,
On Saturday, Dan had two lessons before mine. The instructor said to
me, "Dan has been off today. He's really been unresponsive and not
wanting to work. Let's see how you feel about him. I hate to say it,
but I think he is off." (she always worries about Dan because of his
Cushings)
So I saddled up Dan and got on. Granting that I'm still very much a
novice rider and Dan had been successfully ignoring his previous rider
(a 10 year old), I was able to get him going and trotting around the
indoor, increasingly with more energy. I finally said to my
instructor, "Actually, he feels normal to me. He has decent energy,
even though it's hot today, so I don't think he's off."
My instructor said, "I agree. He seems fine with you, MAYBE IT'S THE
SADDLE... (my caps for emphasis). Maybe he's just more comfortable
and can stretch out more."
I think that's true! I think he likes his cushy tack and is unhappy
when he has to use the less comfortable tack.

more from Leslie "I'm happy to share, as Dan clearly likes his new saddle and padding. One of my issues in
riding is being afraid of hurting the horse when I ride, especially an older horse with a bony spine! The
saddle has helped me not worry about that any more. Also, I don't have to worry about keeping my legs
back all the time."
I have 2 fractures in my L5 vertebrae, and some nerve issues going into my left hip. Before I got my Vogue,
I couldn't ride much at all. I could only manage a couple times a week, bareback, at the walk.
Now I can ride very comfortably. I can actually SIT my Haflinger's trot, which I couldn't before since its very
powerful & bouncy, and it hurt a lot. I still have to be careful not to over do things. I haven't done any canter
yet. Also, my other pony has HATED every other saddle she's ever worn, including some treeless. She's
very comfortable & happy with the Vogue.
I have the dressage and the backsaver pad. And on days when I want more protection, I'll add the Ultra
ThinLine pad I have. I can ride comfortably with a regular saddle pad too, but the backsaver & ThinLine
help a lot. The narrow twist of the Vogue is very nice.
